First Week of April Quotes

Maybe I will do better if I type up the quotes each week instead of waiting until the very end. I guess we shall see. So here is the first week of April's amazing thoughts from Kimee, my dear, sweet, amazing friend.

April 1, 2012 "But when it comes to prayer, the lines are always open. "I hear you." "What desirest thou?" And prayer is al gift we must take advantage of. Many of our blessing "are made conditional upon our asking for them" (Bible Dictinary-Prayer). ~Ardeth G. Kapp~ I am so grateful for prayer and know that it is truly is a gift. I know our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to talk to Him about ANYTHING, and He does hear our cries! Just ask! I love you! Kimee:-)
April 2, 2012 "You can't be right by doing wrong. You can't be wrong by doing right." ~President Thomas S. Monson~ What a great gift our Father has given each of us: the gift of agency. And such a seemingly simple formula given by our prophet to know if each choice I make puts me on the Lord's or the devil's territory. And I thank Him eternally for His Son's Atonement to help me in all my imperfections every day! Trust! Hope! His plan is truly a plan of happiness! I love you! Kimee:-)
April 3, 2012 "Fear is usually the product of incomplete knowledge or incomplete thinking." ~ Anonymous~ "Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are your own fears." ~Rudyard Kipling~ I know that through Christ I can receive complete knowledge, which drives fears away. He does keep His promise to strengthen me, uphold me, and to "Fear not: I will help thee" (Isaiah 41:10, 13). Trust! Ask! He is always here and loves you so much! I love you! Kimee:-)
April 4, 2012 "To be passive is deadening; to stop doing is to die. Here then is a close parallel with physical life. If one fails to eat and drink, his body becomes emaciated and dies. Likewise if he fails to nourish his spirit and mind, his spirit shrivels and his mind darkens." ~President Spencer W. Kimball~ I am so very grateful for the power of prayer and the word of the Lord I get to feast upon daily, but especially for the power and influence of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, who truly is the bread of life. He said, "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever..."(John 6:51). He loves each of us so much and even gave his life so we could have a daily feast and not shrivel and die! What a blessing! Trust! I love you! Kimee:-)
April 5, 2012"People sell themselves shorts and don't think they're capable of achieving their wildest dreams. But I think if we're children of God and He is infinite, then our potential is limitless." ~Ryan S. Sheperd~ I know that we are children of a loving Heavenly Father and with Him ALL things are possible! (Luke 1:37, Genesis 18:14) Just as His Son Jesus Christ overcame the 'impossible,' He too will help us achieve or overcome the impossible! TRUST! ASK! I love you! Kimee:-)
April 6, 2012 "Man is the master of thought, the molder of character, and the maker and shaper of condition, environment and destiny...He who cherishes a beautiful vision, a lofty ideal in his heart will one day realize it. Columbus cherished a vision of another world, and he discovered it; Copernicus fostered the vision of a multiplicity of worlds and wider universe, and he revealed it; Buddha beheld a vision of a spiritual world of stainless beauty and perfect peace, and he entered into it." ~James Allen~ Have Goals! Dream Big! Believe! And always remember that in the strength of the Lord we can do all things (Alma 26:12)!! Have a super day! I love you! Kimee:-)
April 7, 2012"...when we are in the Lord's service, He will make up for our limitations. When self~reliance and self~confidence give way, our struggles open the door to a deeper understanding of Christ's condescension and His commitment to succor us, bless us, comfort us, and even pray for us. He is our advocate with the Father."~ Ardeth G. Kapp~ What better advocate would you want? He sure loves us and gave everything, even His life, so He would be able to succor and comfort in every time of need! Come unto Him...He is always there! I love you! Kimee:-)
April 8, 2012 HAPPY HAPPY EASTER!! " I know that my Redeemer lives. What great comfort this sentence gives! He lives, who once was dead. He lives, my ever living Head. He lives to bless me with His love. He lives to plead for me above. He lives my hungry sould to feed. He lives to bless im time of need...Oh, sweet this sentence gives" I know that my Redeemer lives!" ~ Samuel Medley~ (Hymn 136). I do know that my Redeemer lives and am so grateful for this blessed Easter day to remind me of such a miracle and blessing and which brings such peace and comfort! I love you! Kimee:-)
